AdNU-CSEA's computer, electronics engineering programs achieve PAASCU level III reaccredited status

After completing the six major steps in the accreditation process, namely (1) the institutional self-survey, (2) the consultancy visit, (3) the preliminary survey visit, (4) the formal survey visit, (5) initial accreditation status granted, and (6) full accreditation status granted, the said AdNU-CSEA undergraduate programs have successfully maintained their accreditation status since their initial accreditation on November 2008. 

The latest accreditation survey visit, conducted last 23-24 November 2023, consisted of interviews, meeting with faculty members and students, class observations, and inspection of facilities, among others.

PAASCU is a private, nonprofit corporation that regulates the caliber of academic programs at its affiliated institutions, alongside providing institutional accreditation. According to PAASCU, accreditation allows educational institutions to execute rigorous assessments, which leads to development in quality, functions, and services. It guarantees to the public that an institution or program complies with or exceeds the provisions set by government bodies. It likewise encourages academic achievement by establishing standards and processes for evaluating learning outcomes. 

The Level III Reaccredited Status is reserved for programs that have been reaccredited and fulfilled the extra standards established by the federation for this level in particular.
