The post reads “Congratulations for being chosen to participate in the AdNU 2024 Drug Test.” It got a good laugh, with the comments filled with sarcastic humor, as some say they should review the FOIL method and wish for a hundred percent positivity rate. However, after scrolling through the other entries, it became clear that many Ateneans are still uncertain about the university's drug-free campus program. While the posts were all in good fun, the underlying issue remains: there’s still a lot of confusion and concern about ADNU's drug-free campus program, and for good reason.

person Francine Irish Rañacalendar_month March 10, 2025The capitalist society runs much like our cellular phones, which operation thrive on the aggregate of chips, an object with which the labor forces seem to be identified—non-human, a mere part of a functional tool, as though their sole purpose is to keep the structure working and the screens flashing for the entertainment of the voracious few. The labor force, however, should hold out against the cuffs—signifying their defiance against the non-liveable objectification of their working environment, indicating that they are no mere chips: They are humans with a household to keep and likewise mouths to feed, rightful of a bigger portion, as modeled by the workers of the tech giant, Nexperia Philippines Inc.
