Ateneo de Naga University is set to enter a new phase of leadership as Dr. Digna P. Alba takes on the role of Assistant Vice President for Higher Education for the Academic Year 2024-2025.
In an official announcement made through its Facebook page dated last 20 August, the university expressed its congratulations to Dr. Alba, following her appointment as the AVPHE.
Moreover, Dr. Alba, who has served as the Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences since June 2015, will succeed Dr. Alfredo Fabay as the next Vice President for Higher Education by the next school year.
Dr. Digna P. Alba’s more than 20 years tenure in the university includes her roles as an associate professor and chairperson of the Department of Media Studies.
