WITH BREATHTAKING stunts, razor-sharp synchronization, and an infectious spirit that lit up their homecourt, an F1 big-fight driven Ateneo Golden Cavalry blazed with 149 points to capture the championship of BUCAL Cheer and Dance Competition Season 2 on 24 January at the AdNU Gymnasium.
In a pre-performance interview, AGC's Yezha Quier Sanchez spoke about the team's grind behind the glitter. She highlighted the adjustments of integrating new members, the relentless hours of practice, and the delicate balance of their lives as student athletes. Moreover, the team noted that this year’s routine wasn’t just refined, but also a showcase of growth and improvement of how far they had come since last season.
Together with them are the NCF Tigers Pep Squad placing second, followed closely by the USI Falcons Pep Squad in third, while SPJ Pep Squad, BISCAST ASTEAN Battalion Pep Squad, and ACLC Hawks Pep Squad rounded out the rankings.
